The Method

The Four Quarter
Square Method

A 360° psychometric framework built over 22 years to map students' true potential to the right career.

What is the 4QS Method?

One Framework.
27,000+ Success Stories.

The Four Quarter Square Method is a structured, science-backed approach to career decision-making. It was developed by Mr. Mohit Mangal over two decades of working with students across every background, stream, and ambition.

Unlike generic aptitude tests, the 4QS Method evaluates four distinct dimensions of every student simultaneously — ensuring no single factor drives the recommendation, and that the student's full picture is captured.

The result: a career direction that is genuinely aligned with who the student is, not just what scores or trends suggest.

The Four Dimensions

What We Measure

Each quadrant captures a different dimension of who the student is. All four must align for a career recommendation to hold.

LQ · Learning Quotient

How You Learn

Your orientation toward learning — are you a visual learner, a hands-on doer, or a theoretical thinker? LQ determines which study environments, teaching styles, and academic paths will energise rather than drain you.

IQ · Intelligence Quotient

Your Natural Aptitude

Measured across verbal, numerical, spatial, and logical dimensions — not just a single score, but a profile. This reveals where your natural strengths lie and which careers will let those strengths compound over time.

EQ · Emotional Quotient

Your Personality & Resilience

Career fit isn't only about skills — it's about temperament. Are you collaborative or independent? Do you thrive with people or with systems? EQ ensures your personality aligns with the work environment of your future career.

PQ · Passion Quotient

What Drives You

The most underrated dimension. Real vs. pseudo interests are evaluated — filtering out peer pressure, trend-chasing, and parental influence to reveal what genuinely excites and motivates the individual student.

The Process

How It Works in a Session

1

Case History Interview

A 60–75 minute session where a Psychologist gathers comprehensive background on the student — academic history, family context, interests, fears, and goals.

2

360° Perspective Gathering

Structured input from teachers, peers, or family members gives an external view of the student's strengths and blind spots — not just self-reported data.

3

Psychometric Assessment

A customised battery of assessments covering all four quadrants. For college-level students (Odyssey), includes extended 300-word responses for deeper analysis.

4

BrainMap Report Generation

A detailed personalised report is prepared by the team of Psychologists led by Mr. Mohit Mangal — mapping results to specific career recommendations.

5

Counseling & Roadmap Session

A 45-minute one-on-one session to decode the report, answer "what next?", and build a concrete action plan with timelines.
