What is career counseling and who is it for?

Career counseling is a guided process that helps students and young professionals understand their unique strengths, interests, and aptitudes — and map those to suitable career paths. It is for students from Class 7 through postgraduation, and also for parents who want to support their child's decisions effectively.

What makes Mr. Mohit Mangal's approach different?

Mr. Mangal uses the proprietary Four Quarter Square (4QS) Method — a structured psychometric evaluation across four dimensions: Learning Quotient, Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient, and Passion Quotient. This ensures every recommendation is data-backed, not based on opinion or guesswork.

How many sessions are involved?

It depends on the program. The Consultation is a single session (45–60 min). Foundation, Discovery, and Exploration programs span 2–4 sessions over 4–6 hours. The Odyssey program for college students spans 4–5 sessions over 8–10 hours.

Are sessions available online?

Yes — all programs are available both online (video call) and in-person at our Ahmedabad centre. Online sessions are equally comprehensive and recordings are available with prior consent.

Do parents attend the sessions?

For school-level programs (Foundation through Exploration), parents attend the first and final sessions. For the Odyssey program (UG/PG), sessions are student-focused, though parents may join if the student wishes.

Which program is right for my child?

Use the stage as your guide: Foundation for Class 7–8 (early direction), Discovery for Class 9–10 (stream selection), Exploration for Class 11–12 (college and entrance exam mapping), Odyssey for UG/PG students. Start with the ₹5,000 Consultation if you're unsure.

Can we start with just the Consultation?

Absolutely. The Consultation is a standalone session that provides clarity on boards, subjects, and career directions without any psychometric assessment. Many families start here and then proceed to a full program.

What is the difference between Discovery and Exploration?

Discovery (Class 9–10) focuses on stream selection for Class 11. Exploration (Class 11–12) goes deeper — confirming your subject choices, mapping entrance exams, shortlisting colleges, and building a full roadmap to graduation.

Is there support after the sessions?

Yes. All programs include at least one revisit session for follow-up questions. Foundation, Discovery, and Exploration include post-session support for one month. Odyssey includes a formal Progress Follow-Up session 2–4 weeks after the final counseling.

What are the eBooks about?

The 2026 eBook series covers 22 career domains across Science, Commerce, Arts & Humanities, and Skills & Vocational streams. Each book deep-dives into careers, required qualifications, entrance exams, and real earning potential in that field in India.

When will the eBooks launch?

The eBooks are launching in March 2026. You can pre-book any title now at ₹499. Pre-booked copies will be delivered digitally on the launch date.

Are these the same as the CBSE Career Handbooks?

The 23 CBSE Career Handbooks by Mr. Mohit Mangal are a separate series officially published and distributed by CBSE to affiliated schools. The 2026 eBooks are an updated, expanded digital series available for individual purchase.

Is the Parents' Handbook free?

Yes — the Parents' Career Handbook is available as a free PDF download from the eBooks page. It is also officially published by CBSE and has received praise from the Honourable Prime Minister of India.

Yes — virtual workshops via video conference are available for schools outside Ahmedabad. These are equally interactive and include live Q&A with students.
